Upgrade List

 

Numerous new features and bug fixes have been added to Name and Property Modifier 2.0 from version 1.1. The following is a complete list of these updates:

Batch File Renamer: Bug Fixes

  1. Program would lag when changing settings if File List had numerous files listed
  2. Character Replacing Database bug fixed
  3. The program would crash or produce errors when retrieving EXIF tag info from some digital camera pictures
  4. Checking and unchecking the “Don’t display file path” option did not work and would sometimes cause the program to misbehave
  5. Minor and miscellaneous bugs fixed

Batch File Renamer: New Features

  1. Insert a file’s created and last accessed date and/or time
  2. Change the format of the date and time to be inserted
  3. Remove the original filename
  4. Math Functions: add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers
  5. Keep original source files
  6. Save renamed files to a different directory
  7. Change placement number increment
  8. File filter for the File List
  9. Filename Restore: Undo filename changes

 

MP3 & WMA Renamer: Bug Fixes

  1. “nt” would be inserted into the ID3 comment field if it was left empty
  2. Genre tag bug fixed: misspellings, certain genres would cause errors
  3. ID3v1 comment tag and genre tag did not function properly
  4. Minor and miscellaneous bugs fixed

MP3 & WMA Renamer: New Features

  1. Improved Wizard feature
  2. MP3 Tag Editor improved can edit selected or multiple tags at once for one or all files, among other improvements and minor bug fixes
  3. MP3 Missing Tag Checker automated, among other improvements and minor bug fixes
  4. Keep original source files
  5. Save renamed files to a different directory
  6. Confirmation dialog before showing preview of files to be renamed
  7. Filename Restore: Undo filename changes

 

Simple Image Converter: Bug Fixes

  1. Image preview window is now semetrical and not overly-stretched along the y axis
  2. Other minor and miscellaneous bugs fixed

Simple Image Converter: New Features

  1. New dialog appears when inquiring about overwriting existing files. Includes an “Always use the selected option” checkbox
  2. File filter for the File List

 

Batch Property Modifier: Bug Fixes

  1. Stamps would be changed even if it was specified to not modify it
  2. Certain stamp setting combinations would result in stamps being modified improperly
  3. “Subscript out of range” error has been resolved
  4. Minor and miscellaneous bugs fixed

Batch Property Modifier: New Features

  1. New interface that is easier to use
  2. File filter for the File List
  3. File List displays date/time stamps and attributes

 

General New Features:

  1. All File Lists have a right-click menu to add items, remove items, open the selected item, and show the selected item’s full path
  2. Help documentation is located in a proper Help File
  3. Purchasing Name and Property Modifier is more streamlined and does not require the user to enter a Product ID on the payment page

General Bug Fixes:

  1. Opening the program via the right-click context menu would sometimes fail on older computers and computers experiencing high CPU usage
  2. Various bug fixes in the Installer and the Uninstaller, including the Uninstaller sometimes not removing the context menu
